Sometimes I love myself.

This is Howl's ring from Howl's Moving Castle. (I plan to cosplay as him next convention)

It's made from Sculpey, silver and black paint, and 2 red glass beads. And 2 keyrings to give it it's smooth and strong form.

I used an antiquing effect on the silver to make it look a little tarnished.

I agree! Amazing! Is it hard to work with Sculpty? After seeing this I'm dying to try and make my own. Haha! Again, nice!

It's not hard to work with sculpey, it just takes practice. :3

You might find your first couple tries very frustrating.

The key ring idea is brilliant. I've never made rings (or anything using sculpty) but that's an easy and encouraging idea for me lol ^^;

Hope you don't mind if I try it?

This ring is absolutely beautiful by the way. Does the ring in the movie have a second stone on it? I don't remember seeing two.

I wouldn't mind at all if you tried! :D I love when people get ideas from my work.

Actually, it does have a second stone. I have the Artbook, and in the one sketch it shows that there's 2, and if you watch the movie veeeery carefully you'll see it. ^^
