Custom MLP Tutorial 2 by CrowMaiden Custom MLP Tutorial 2 by CrowMaiden
This is part two of a basic Custom My Little Pony Tutorial!

I do things a little differently, so this may help some people.

This tutorial covers how to re-hair the tail.

Questions are welcome and encouraged! :D

Simple painting:[link]

These tutorials WILL NOT cover how to re-hair the mane, dye the body, or style the hair. You'll need to find someone else for that ^^;

The washer is the metal or plastic thing that is an "O" like a flat Cheerio.

Where do you get a washer? Also, I don't understand, am I supposed to pull the tail of the whole and put it back again?

Washers can be found at hardware stores usually. And yeah, if you're not using the same tail, you have to pull it out and put a new one in.

If you are looking for hair, go to DollyHair.com. I haven't purchased any yet, mostly because I'm still planning for a pony, but I hear she has great service!

I used the hair from the mane, so it was a short tail.

The washer you can either get off the old pony, or use an actual plumbing washer. It keeps the tail from slipping through.

You can buy it online here:[link] I've never bought from them myself but I've heard good reviews about their service.

I like to use old Halloween wigs personally; just wash them with a little conditioner to reduce frizz.
